Veterinary Kennel Assistant
Veterinary Kennel Assistant needed for a modern, clean, state-of-the-art small animal practice in Glen Cove, Long Island.
The ideal candidate will live within 5 miles of Glen Cove, NY. We are looking for an intelligent, responsible, reliable, punctual, hardworking, compassionate Veterinary Kennel Assistant who loves and respects animals and has the ability to multitask.
Veterinary Kennel Assistant responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining cleanliness of hospital and laundry
- Bathing, feeding and walking patients
- Unpacking & stocking inventory
- Opportunities for advancement into assisting the Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians in exams and procedures
Veterinary Kennel Assistant must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and be computer savvy, as our practice is paperless. Prior experience much preferred but will train the right individual. You must be available on some nights, weekends, and holidays. Compensation is commensurate with abilities and experience. Please email resume and cover letter.
